All IIBEC members are welcome to join any and all local chapters. Our primary audience are those members that reside and operate businesses in Oregon or SW Washington. We invite you to become part of the IIBEC Portland Chapter.
Membership in IIBEC at the chapter level can benefit you in a number of ways. Our chapter is dedicated to providing continuing education events throughout the year. These events range from Beverages & Tutelage (practical A/E/C topics in a casual after-work setting), to quarterly Chapter Meetings with educational presentations, and an Annual Symposium. For networking fun, each Fall we gather for the Phil Strand Memorial Golf Tournament.
Chapter events provide continuing education with relevant topics and a means for networking opportunities with industry professionals. They also give seasoned professionals an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with our membership. We strive to offer an open venue where each member can benefit from the vast knowledge of our membership. These educational event afford you an easy way of keeping on top of earning your annual CEHs.
The IIBEC Portland Chapter is a not-for-profit affiliated chapter of IIBEC, and part of Region V. We are proud to be part of the international organization and we strive to meet both our own objectives and goals, as well as support the mission of our parent organization.
All chapter members must also be members in good standing of IIBEC. Membership in IIBEC grants significant discounts for all educational programs offered by IIBEC. It also guarantees your inclusion in their searchable database of professionals, which is used by people throughout the industry to find consultants. For additional information about joining IIBEC (the parent organization) please follow this link: Join IIBEC International Members will abide by the Chapter’s by-laws, subscribe to the code of ethics, and support its objective.
For individuals who are NOT current members if IIBEC, we offer a “Friend of the Chapter” membership. Friends of the chapter will abide by the Chapter’s by-laws, subscribe to the code of ethics, and support its objectives. Friends of the Chapter are not eligible to vote on chapter ballots. They may serve on Chapter Committees.
