May Chapter Meeting & Educational Presentation
The Portland Chapter of the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC Portland Chapter) invites all design professionals, consultants, and contractors practicing in the roofing, waterproofing and building enclosure fields to attend our Chapter Meeting & Educational Presentation on Modern Roofing Technology: Self-Adhered Modified Bitumen Roofing Membranes.
This presentation will provide understanding as we review the current manufacturing and testing procedures that define a good self adhered membrane. The learning objectives are:
- Understand trends in the low-slope roofing market which have led the industry to self-adhered applications
- Describe the advantages and limitations of self-adhered membranes
- Explain the evolution and advancements in self-adhered modified bitumen roofing products
Keynote Speaker: Betiana Acha, Director of Research & Development and Codes & Compliance for Polyglass
Betiana Acha is Director of Research and Development for Polyglass, U.S.A. She is responsible for leading all the new product developments for roofing and building envelop applications.
